Medical examiner releases name of double homicide victim

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner identified the second victim of a double homicide that occurred Friday afternoon.

Dominique Jones, 27, died after being shot three times on Amesbury Avenue around 1:30 p.m.  

According to police, Jones was found lying in the street, with a knife near her. Jones was shot twice in the chest and once in the arm. She was transported to MetroHealth, where she later died.

Officers checked in the home at 9270 Amesbury Ave. and found a male lying on the ground.  Lerod Stafford, 38, was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple stabbing wounds to the chest.
