On Monday the manager of a Montgomery McDonald's restaurant received the Ray Kroc award, a nationwide award given to the top 1% of McDonald's managers.
Charles Ray, manager of the McDonald's on the Eastern Bypass at Woodmere Blvd., received this award for the second time, the first being in 2009. This is the first time a manager in the Atlanta region has gotten this award twice.
The Ray Kroc award, named for the founder of McDonald's, is given to managers for their high standard of quality, service and commitment.
Ray was given the award by store owners Ron and Loretta hay, representatives of McDonald's corporation and Ronald McDonald. The Saint James Band played at the presentation.
