Crab Wontons from All Around Town Catering
1 lb crabmeat [Today it is clawmeat]
Sweet Thai chili sauce
2 Tbsp olive oil
Small bowl of water
Heat oil in pan [medium heat]. Set wonton wraps on cutting board about 6 at a time. Wet the edges of the wonton wrap. Place about a teaspoon of crabmeat and a touch of chili sauce in the middle of wrap, then fold to the corners securing the meat inside. Place in oil for about 20 seconds on each side until golden brown. Place on paper towel before serving.
You can use whatever dipping sauce you prefer. We are using Sriracha and Sweet Thai Chili. You can mix those with mayonnaise if you want. Perfect for brunch or snacks during games. Enjoy and Happy New Year to all!!!
