Whole Foods Seared Tuna and Avocado Salad
 
For Dressing
Sesame oil   2oz.
Lime Juice   3oz.
Chopped Ginger  .25oz.
Chopped Serrano Pepper .25oz.
 
Whisk all ingredients together and let the flavors marry for 20 minutes.
 
For Salad
Gratitude Farms Green Leaf Lettuce  5 oz.
Shitake mushroom (stem removed)  3oz.
Cherry tomato medley  3oz.
1 avocado sliced
Tuna steak 8 oz.
Salt and pepper to taste
Sesame seeds to finish
Green onion slices
 
In a hot pan, season and sear your tuna to a nice rare temperature and let rest for 10 minutes. Next toss your greens in dressing and top with mushrooms and tomato. Next slice your tuna and lay on top of salad with avocado in between each slice. Drizzle extra dressing on top if desired and garnish with sesame seeds and green onion.
