(CNN) – Mary Kay Letourneau, the teacher who served more than seven years in prison for raping a sixth grader, is in trouble with the law again.
She was arrested in Washington state on accusations she was driving with a suspended license and failed to appear in court.
A corrections spokeswoman says Letourneau was booked early Monday morning and released hours later on a $5,000 bond.
Local media reports she's expected in court on Tuesday.
Since being released from prison, Letourneau married her former student and has two children with him.
