ST. CLAIR COUNTY, AL (WBRC) -

Authorities called off the search for a drowning victim around noon Monday due to the weather.

St. Clair County authorities will resume the search Tuesday morning.

Early Saturday morning, officials say a man jumped from a car, went over a guard rail and into the Coosa River.

The sheriff's department says they have received reports that the man may have been drinking. His identity has not been released yet.
