Garlic and basil chicken and white BBQ sauce

Irondale Café     WhiteBBQ Sauce

 

4 ¼ cups   Mayonnaise

2 cups   Vinegar

1 cup     Apple Juice

4 tsp   Horseradish

4 tsp   Black Pepper

4 tsp   Lemon Juice

2 tsp    Salt

1 tsp   Cayenne Pepper

¾ cup   Corn Syrup

Makes about 2 quarts.

 

Chicken Brine:

For about 5-6 pieces of skin-on, quartered chicken, useabout 1 tsp of salt dissolved in water, in an air tight container. Store inrefrigerator for up to 2 days.

 

Garlic- Basil Seasoning:

Granulated garlic, onion powder, salt, black pepper, driedbasil

375F convection oven for about 30-45 minutes until 165F inthe center
