PELHAM, AL (WBRC) -

The Pelham Police Department is asking for the public's help to find a teen they consider missing and endangered.

Fourteen-year-old Kaitlin Hedderly was last seen at her home at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1 on County Road 35 in Pelham, according to a post on the department's Facebook page Monday evening.

Her family says they don't know where Hedderly was going to or why she left. They say she is in need of medication at this time.

She was last seen wearing an earth-tone striped long-sleeve hoodie and blue jeans.

He family describes her as 5'5" and 125 pounds with blue eyes and auburn hair. She also just had her braces removed this past week.

"We love you; we miss you. You're not in any trouble. We just want you to come home.  And if anybody has any information about where she could be please, contact the Pelham Police Department," said Hedderly's stepfather, Tim Connell.
