The fatal crash of a UPS plane in Birmingham will be the subject of an NTSB hearing in Washington this week.
On Thursday, the NTSB will hold an investigative hearing into the crash of UPS Flight 1354 on August 14 of last year. The Airbus UPS A-300 crashed less than a mile from the end of the runway on final approach in the early morning hours that day.
The NTSB says it plans to focus on non-precision approaches, human factors, and dispatch procedures at the hearing. Investigators won't release their final determination about the probable cause for the crash until the investigation is finished.
