MOMENTUM WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE - Geena Davis, Academy Award-winning actress, writer, film producer and founder of a research-based organization dedicated to improving images for women and girls in the media; and Princeton professor emerita, Anne-Marie Slaughter, author of Why Women Still Can't Have It All, one of the most-read articles in the history of The Atlantic online magazine, will headline the second biennial MOMENTUM conference on February 26 and 27. BASSMASTERS - Mike talked with Gerald Swindle - a former Angler of the Year. They discussed this weekend's Bassmaster Classic. The 2014 Bassmaster Classic will be held on Lake Guntersville. It runs Friday through Sunday. The weigh-in and Outdoors Expo will be at the BJCC. This is the 44th edition of sport fishing's greatest championship and the eighth time that Birmingham has been the host city. Birmingham is home to the B.A.S.S. Headquarters. TOY SHOW - This year marks the 111th American International Toy Fair. It is the largest toy trade show in the Western Hemisphere, the third largest in the world and a critical time for the approximately $32 Billion U.S. toy industry (including video games). More than 1,600 manufacturers, distributors, importers and sales agents from 30 countries will be showing more than 100,000 toys. Chris Byrne, The "Toy Guy" provided insight into this highly competitive, high-stakes industry. He addressed a variety of topics, from business outlook in the current economy, to consumer product and retailing trends-and of course some of the hottest new toys for 2014 that are being officially launched to the trade in the U.S. at this show, though some are already finding their way to store shelves as manufacturers try to get an early jump on the year.
