A Pell City man arrested for one burglary has now been charged in five burglaries.
Erron Guyton, 24, was picked up last week in Pell City after detectives say they linked him to a burglary in the Johns area of western Jefferson County.
The sheriff's department says once they had Guyton in custody, he admitted to four more burglaries in the northern part of the county. Deputies say he committed burglaries on Johns Road, Nail Road, Humber Road, Cedar Crest Road and White Road.
Several of the stolen items were also found in a Forestdale area pawn shop.
Guyton has been charged with five counts of third degree burglary, two counts of first degree theft of property and three counts of second degree theft of property.
He is in the Jefferson County Jail on a $156,000 bond.
