The chance of winter
weather on Wednesday morning died away as a blast of cold air from the north
failed to catch the southward-moving precipitation. A few northern counties in
Alabama may have seen a wintry mix, but nothing frozen stayed on the ground.
The forecast for Wednesday
remains rainy until late morning, when clouds will start breaking up. Highs
will be in the low 40s. By Wednesday night, the lows should drop pretty low to
around 20 degrees.
The weekend should be clear with temps warming each day. Monday and Tuesday could bring a chance of rain and thunderstorms.
