COLUMBIA, MO (RNN) - Despite poor shooting and being down for almost the entire game, Missouri escaped with a last-second 57-56 win over Texas A&M at home on Wednesday night.

The Aggies (17-13, 8-9 SEC) limited the Tigers (21-9, 9-8) to just seven field goals in the first half. Texas A&M led 30-20 at halftime and held onto it until the final seven seconds, when Mizzou's Earnest Ross made two free throws to give the Tigers their only lead of the night.

Mizzou shot 34 percent from the field and made only one of its 11 3-point shots (9.1 percent). The Tigers, however, excelled in free throws, making 24 out of 30 (80 percent). The Aggies hit 22 out of 50 field goals (44 percent), five out of 18 3-pointers (27.8 percent) and seven out of 10 free throws (70 percent).

Jabari Brown led the Tigers with 20 points while Jordan Clarkson added 14. For the Aggies, Jamal Jones led with 16 points. Alex Caruso added 13 points and led with four assists, five steals and one block. Kourtney Roberson also scored in double digits for the Aggies, adding 10 points.

This was Texas A&M's eighth straight loss away from home, and the Aggies are 1-11 in games away from Reed Arena for the season. They will play their final game of the regular season at home against Auburn on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET.
