Investigators are still trying to determine what caused a fire at a Houston County flea market this weekend. The Fire Marshall is handling the investigation. Foul play hasn't been ruled out in the case.
New Visions Flea Market in Cottonwood burned to the ground Sunday night around 7. The popular flea market is on Highway 231 South just north of the Florida line.
No one was injured, and the market was closed at the time of the fire.
Vendors were allowed back on the property for the first time Tuesday. They spent the day sifting through the debris and piecing together what's left.
Vendors say the show will go on with a yard sale Saturday morning at 7. All Proceeds will benefit Conner Lokey, an 8-year-old boy battling his second bout of cancer. You can bring items for the yard sale on Friday at 10 a.m. to the flea market.
New Visions will also host a Craft Day March 21-23 to raise money for Conner.
The flea market was built in 1989 and had gone through new management and different names over the years.
