NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

If your child is in the 11th grade in Metro Nashville Public Schools, plan on an early bed time and a good breakfast.

They need to be prepared to take the ACT on Tuesday, March 18, if they attend one of the following high schools: Antioch, Cane Ridge, Glencliff, Hillsboro, Hume-Fogg, Hunters Lane, McGavock, MLK, MNPS Virtual School, Nashville Big Picture, Pearl-Cohn and Stratford.

Students should have received details from their school counselors about testing times.

Officials say if your student is not able to take the ACT on Tuesday, check with the school's counselor for a voucher to take the test at a later date.

Metro students made up an extra snow day Monday. The district built seven inclement weather days into the school calendar but has used eight.

Monday was originally set as a teacher planning day, but that has been moved to Tuesday.
