Job hunters camped out overnight, hoping to be among the first toapply for jobs at an insulation wiring company in Douglas.
The Southwire plant has 30 positions to fill.
They're temporary jobsbut there is the possibility they could become permanent.
Staffmate temp servicestook applications Monday morning and they say folks were lined up when theyopened.
"It is a verygood company to work for. Very strong entry level jobs. Very important to oureconomy in Coffee County. But these jobs are top end in skilled professions.People come out for these jobs," said Mark Spike, Owner and General Manager ofStaffmate.
Staffmate says about 200 people applied forthe jobs.
