A fundraiser was held on Saturday in Houston County for a boy whohas relapsed with Leukemia.
Conner Lokey, 9, relapsed with ALL Leukemia T-Cell, andmembers at The New Vision Flea Market hosted a craft day in his name.The event was held to raise money for medical expenses for Conner's family. The event continues through Sunday with a benefit raffle and a donation booth.
Other events are being held to help raise money for Connerincluding a Boston Butt sale in April.
According to the Facebook page set up for Conner, he has been undergoing Chemotherapytreatments in Birmingham after he relapsed in October.
The flea market burned down earlier in March, but the eventwas still held in order to raise money. The craft day hosted many vendors whohad booths set up where the old flea market once was.
