Maintenance mechanic Michael Free has been going non-stop since Monday's storms.
"It's been chaos, we're running around like chickens with our heads cut off, trying to clean up as best we can so we can get back to normal," said Free.
and he isn't alone. Crews brought in heavy machinery, and everyone is doing their part to pick up the pieces. From tree crews to power crews and even the National Guard, people are stepping up to assist with the cleanup.
The small community on the river takes pride in their home. Despite the long road ahead, they're not losing sight of the finished product.
"I can't wait," laughed Free. "It's a nice place to be, a lot of good people around here. I can't think of being anywhere else."
