PACOLET, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Pacolet woman has been charged after deputies said she confessed to setting her ex-husband's home on fire.

On May 4, Cherokee County deputies and firefighters were called to a house fire on Quarter Round Road at 9:35 a.m.

Deputies said while they were responding to the fire, other officers met with 40-year-old Lisa Levette Tracy at the law enforcement center.

They said she indicated she started the fire at her ex-husband's house. Deputies believed the arson was due to an ongoing dispute between the two.

Detective Sgt. Jott Blackwell obtained a warrant charging Tracy with arson.

She is being held at the Cherokee County Detention Center on $20,000 bond.
