A weekend of great art from local artists and artists from around the country is set to begin in downtown Greenville on Friday.
Opening ceremonies for the 10th annual Artisphere festival are scheduled to begin at noon.
Organizers said SC Gov. Nikki Haley would be in attendance for the opening ceremonies to introduce the festival's largest lineup of artists yet.
A total of 125 exhibitors will showcase their artwork on Main Street.
Several downtown streets have been closed for the duration of the event.
South Main Street from Court Street to Augusta Street, Broad Street from Falls Street to Laurens Street, and Camperdown Way from Rhett Street to South Main Street.
Admission to Artisphere is free, and this year's festival also features a kid's area and wine tasting.

The artist roster features 15 local artists including Kent Ambler (printmaking/graphics), Beth Andrews (fiber), Joseph Bradley (2D mixed media), Chris Bruner (photography), Janina Ellis (painting: oil and acrylic), Lynn Greer (painting: watercolor), Marie Gruber (photography), Signe and Genna Grushovenko (painting: oil and acrylic), Danielle Miller-Gilliam (jewelry: precious), Ray Mosteller (photography), Stephanie Shuptrine (emerging festival artist), Llyn Strong (jewelry: precious), Judy Verhoeven (2D mixed media), Katie Walker (emerging festival artist), and Jaryd Walley (furniture).
