as a little boy made a homecoming his dad called a "miracle", after horrific
abuse. The child nearly died.

Yaneil's Godfather just bought
him a bike, but Yaneil is still recovering.
His head wounds are still healing, and doctors amputated a couple of

working with the boy since he's been through so much. No wonder the family
calls this homecoming a blessing.

The abuse happened even though Cuyahoga County child welfare workers had mom under watch, and her case has been open since
Yaniel's dad, Victor Soler, is still bitter toward those
child welfare workers.
"They could have done a
better job. I hope nothing like that ever happens to another child," said Soler.
For now, there's joy in things often taken for granted. Joy in just being home.
"It's a miracle. They wasn't giving me any hope about him. But he's alive," Soler said.
