BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

Birmingham police have arrested a second man charged with capital murder in a double homicide in Ensley.

Jermaine Tolbert, 26, is charged with two counts of capital murder. He had a warrant out for his arrest last week and Birmingham police announced Thursday that he was in custody.

Dewayne Barnes, 20, is also charged with two counts of capital murder in the deaths. He was arrested on May 1.

Sharday Ware, 27, and her boyfriend Dekovan Harris, 36, were found shot to death in a home in the 1300 block of 57th Place in Ensley on Friday, April 25. Ware's seven-year-old daughter discovered their bodies and ran outside to get help from a neighbor, who then contacted police.

Tolbert and Barnes are being held on no bond in the Jefferson County Jail.
