Auburn University announces it plans to use technology to help the growth of future trees to be planted at Toomer's Corner.
The University says it will use silva cells, and an underground structural system designed to prevent soil compaction to help with the new trees grow.
They will also manage the amount of storm water the trees get.
The new trees are scheduled to be planted in 2015.
