Lanette Stewart's husband, Tony Randall Stewart, 29, was arrested June 6 and charged with two counts of burglary third degree and two counts of theft of property second degree. His bond was set at $200,000.
According to police, the Fred's Pharmacy on S. Three Notch Street was burglarized twice in the last month. The first incident was on May 14 shortly before 10 p.m. The second was at 11:35 p.m. on June 5. In both incidents, someone broke a window and took a large amount of narcotic medications.
Tony Stewart was developed as a suspect after police received information from a citizen informant. On June 6, investigators located Tony Stewart and "obtain[ed] an admission from Stewart as having committed both burglaries and thefts at Fred's Pharmacy."
The same day, investigators found a large quantity of drugs and medications that were taken from the pharmacy, according to police.
Lannette Stewart is accused of hiding the medications in a wooded area behind their home before officers arrived.
