Additional charges have been brought against a 17-year-old driver in a crash that killed his friend.
Adam Di'Millo was arrested after authorities determined he was driving impaired and crashed his car after leaving a party in Forsyth County on June 1.
The crash killed 17-year-old Paul Castell Jr., and sent three other passengers to the hospital, including the driver.
Di'Millo was charged with DUI, underage possession/consumption of alcohol and first-degree homicide by vehicle. Di'Millo's bond was set at just over $19,000, was posted and he was released.
Additionally, Di'Millo was charged with reckless driving, too fast for conditions, failure to maintain lane, seatbelt violation (unrestrained minor), no driving between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m., and no occupants under 21 who are not family within first six months of issuance of license.
Di'Millo turned himself in on June 9 and posted a bond of $4,180 later that day.
Police obtained a search warrant for the house of 18-year-old Jeremiah Funke, where the party involving 60 teenagers occurred.
Funke was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession/consumption of alcohol by a minor and maintaining a disorderly house.
Funke was later released from the Forsyth County Detention Center after posting $2,365 bond.
