LIMESTONE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Limestone County authorities arrested five people after discovering meth-making materials and drug paraphernalia at a home Monday.

Sheriff Mike Blakely and a narcotics investigator responded to information about a possible meth lab at a home on the 19200 block of Cox Road.

The investigator heard people talking in the garage and could smell the odor of a meth lab. After making contact with the resident, Thomas Ray Eaton, they were given permission to search.

Sheriff Blakely discovered a partial meth lab on a table in the garage, along with a complete meth lab, finished meth, a pistol, a shotgun, scales, pipes and other paraphernalia.

Also in the garage were William Forrester Ellison, Beth Alyson Shaw, Amanda Kay Knighten, and Linda Elizabeth Holman.

All five were arrested and charged with manufacturing and possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $56,000 per person.
