BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

A four-year-old's dream is coming true thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Mason Greeson and his family left for Disney World on Monday morning.

Two years ago Mason was diagnosed with Wilm's tumor, which is a form of kidney cancer. Mason is in remission now.

Mason had no idea he was leaving for Disney World until he arrived at the airport and saw the Mickey and Minnie balloons.

"He knew he was going to Disney but he didn't know when, we just said we're gonna get to go to Disney so he's still not sure. I don't think he fully gets it like he knows we're going but I don't know if he understands all the hoopla people are taking his picture and he's like what's going on, 'I thought we were going on vacation,'" Mason's mom Kristin Greeson said.

Greeson says Mason is looking forward to seeing Buzz Light Year and Woody from Toy Story. She says if Mason tells the characters "Andy's coming," they have to fall down and pretend to be toys.
