JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL (WBRC) -

One person was killed in a wreck with an 18-wheeler on I-65 in Jefferson County on Friday morning.

A vehicle crashed with an 18-wheeler around 4:15 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-65 at exit 280. State troopers responded to the deadly crash.

The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Jefferson County coroner's office. They have identified the victim as Michael Wayne Marsh, 47, of Hayden.

The driver of the 18-wheeler was transported to a hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.

An employee with Oak Mountain Amphitheater confirms that the 18-wheeler was hauling equipment for Motley Crue. The band is still expected to perform tonight at the park on Friday night.
